Checkout.com is a global fintech platform powering over 10 billion transactions yearly for major companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony. This Group Product Manager role leads the fraud domain within Payment Performance, owning strategy for building a best-in-class fraud engine with real-time models, controls, and decisioning capabilities.
You will set fraud strategy across merchant fraud products, real-time decisioning, and Checkout-wide protection. Key responsibilities include creating a unified product vision and roadmap, deciding where to close core gaps versus build differentiated capabilities, and balancing merchant fraud prevention against acceptance impact and revenue. You'll improve performance, coverage, and resilience of real-time fraud decisioning; build products enabling merchants to configure their own protection or delegate to Autopilot; and strengthen merchant monitoring and investigation experiences.
This is a portfolio leadership role managing several Product Managers while co-owning the Fraud Data Science roadmap. You'll work closely with Engineering, Analytics, Fraud Operations, and Design. You'll also engage directly with sophisticated merchants to understand their fraud challenges and shape product direction.
Key focus areas include: uniting multiple fraud products behind one strategy and metric framework; improving measurable fraud performance while managing acceptance and operational impact; closing product gaps to make the merchant experience more competitive; establishing stronger collaboration across Product, Data Science, Engineering, and Fraud Operations; and building a high-performing Product Manager team with clear accountability.
You'll report to the Senior Director of Product and work within the Payment Performance pillar, collaborating across Product, Technology, Data, Risk, and Commercial functions.
