Lendable is a UK-based fintech unicorn (800+ employees, profitable since 2017, backed by Balderton Capital and Goldman Sachs) expanding into the US market. The company has rebuilt consumer finance products—loans, credit cards, and car finance—with modern technology and AI-driven decisioning, delivering credit to customers in minutes rather than days. You will own the product vision and roadmap for US Cards, managing the complete customer lifecycle from first transaction through retention and reactivation. This is a hands-on role where you'll shape the product while it's still being defined, not inherit a finished one. You'll work in a small, data-driven team and partner closely with the US Cards Managing Director, Credit, Growth, Design, Data Science, and Compliance functions. Key responsibilities include: - Owning product vision and roadmap, driven by customer understanding and experimentation - Managing customer lifecycle levers: credit line management, spend and engagement growth, balance growth, pricing, proposition management, retention, and reactivation - Shaping the mobile app experience to drive activation, spend, and engagement - Building new credit propositions alongside the core Cards product - Executing hands-on: writing and resolving tickets, prototyping, owning implementation and design decisions, and using AI tools to build and test rapidly - Leading through influence across multiple functions - Setting clear, measurable goals and championing experimentation; judging success by whether numbers moved, not by what shipped You'll be expected to use AI as a working part of how you build, test, and analyze. The role offers the opportunity to shape a high-growth product in one of the world's largest financial markets, with a team of exceptional, resourceful problem-solvers. REQUIREMENTS: Essential: - Track record of owning product outcomes end-to-end; ability to make tough calls under ambiguity, own them, and course-correct based on evidence - Strong analytical instinct: feel for what numbers should look like, instinct to notice when something is off, persistence to find real drivers without accepting confident dashboard answers at face value - Comfort working hands-on: writing and resolving tickets, prototyping, making implementation and design decisions yourself - Real fluency with AI tools as a working part of how you build, test, and analyze - Ability to lead through influence across Credit, Growth, Design, Data Science, and Compliance; willingness to change your mind when presented with good arguments Nice to have: - Experience with consumer credit lifecycle levers such as credit line management, pricing, and retention/reactivation - Experience shaping mobile app journeys for activation and engagement
