Ibotta is a leading performance marketing platform (NYSE: IBTA) seeking a Senior Product Manager to join the Publisher team. You will own products that help retailers and CPG brands maximize value from digital promotions through the Ibotta Performance Network, which reaches over 200 million consumers.
In this role, you will spend significant time in discovery—talking directly with retail partners, testing ideas through prototypes, and building the business case for what to ship. You will set OKRs, own the product roadmap end-to-end (frontend and backend), and lead a cross-functional squad of Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Architecture. You'll work closely with Ibotta's Partnerships and Sales teams, occasionally traveling (~5% of time) to meet partners in person.
Key responsibilities include:
- Understanding retail partners' promotion strategies, shopper behavior, and needs from Ibotta
- Translating loosely defined problems into measurable goals and shippable products
- Building working prototypes yourself using AI tools (Claude, Cursor, v0, Lovable) and putting them in front of partners and Engineering before formal requirements
- Owning both the tools/dashboards partners use directly and the APIs/integrations their engineering teams build against
- Running discovery with partners, presenting roadmaps, and handling scope/timing conversations
- Setting OKRs with Partnerships, Sales, and Finance; measuring whether shipped products create value for retailers, brands, and Ibotta
- Using AI tools daily for research, analysis, and writing
The position is hybrid in Denver, requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday–Thursday). Relocation assistance is available for candidates outside Denver. You must be authorized to work full-time in the United States.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of product management experience, including a track record of taking products from ambiguous problem spaces through launch with cross-functional teams
- BA/BS in computer science, engineering, or related technical field (required)
- Hands-on builder: proficiency with AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, v0, Lovable) for prototyping, research, analysis, and writing
- B2B product experience where your customers are businesses; proven ability to run discovery with partners, present roadmaps, and navigate hard conversations about scope and timing
- Ability to define unmapped problem spaces, make sound decisions with incomplete data, and say no to good ideas that don't fit strategy; understanding of multi-party revenue-sharing economics
- Technical depth sufficient to work through APIs, data integrations, and system design with engineers and architects
- Clear communication in writing, visuals, and in-person interactions with internal teams and senior external partners
