Salary: USD 173,000 - 173,000 / annual
Kit is an email-first operating system for creators—coaches, YouTubers, authors, podcasters, and other creatives—helping them grow and monetize their audiences. The company is 100% independent, 100% remote, and on a mission to help creators earn $1 billion using their creator marketing platform.
As Senior Product Manager for Publishing, you'll own the core builders team that powers how creators make and send content: email templates, landing pages, forms, newsletter sites, and more. You'll drive end-to-end product ownership of key surfaces, from identifying opportunities to shipping features that impact hundreds of thousands of creators and over a billion subscribers.
You'll report to Katie Swett Miller, Chief Product Officer, and collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, Success, and Sales. Your first week involves onboarding into Kit's ecosystem and tooling (Linear, Mixpanel, Omni, design stack). By month one, you'll have shipped your first feature. Within six months, you'll have established a clear point of view on competitive positioning and success metrics. Over your first year, you'll lead major initiatives from conception through launch.
The role requires 6–9+ years of product management experience with significant ownership of core, revenue-driving product areas. Ideal candidates have a proven track record building high-quality, scaled software—especially creation tools, editors, or publishing surfaces. You should bring deep experience with content creation online, strong collaboration with design on craft and visual polish, and data-informed decision-making. AI fluency is essential; you should be comfortable using AI tools daily and evaluating where AI can meaningfully improve products. Publishing or content creation expertise is a bonus.
Success traits include high ownership and autonomy in ambiguous environments, systems thinking, low ego with strong cross-functional influence, intellectual curiosity, clear communication at multiple levels, and strong taste for visual and craft quality. The team works mostly on East Coast time, so West Coast, European, and Asian candidates should expect some early mornings or late evenings.
Kit offers standardized salaries ($173,000 for this level), profit sharing, equity, 401(k) with 5% match, and comprehensive benefits.
