Nuitée is building the API backbone for the global travel industry—a platform that connects hotels, OTAs, fintechs, super-apps, and businesses entering travel for the first time. The company has grown 10x since 2022, achieved profitability before raising a $48M Series A led by Accel, and is trusted by industry leaders including Hopper, Priceline, Google, and Uber. You will own Mapping & Content as a full business and product domain. This is the layer that determines whether a room one supplier calls "Deluxe Double" and another calls "Habitación Deluxe" are recognized as the same physical room. You'll be accountable for outcomes, economics, priorities, and product decisions. You'll define what success looks like and decide with your team what to prioritize, test, build, and where to make trade-offs. The underlying problem is unusually complex: a single physical hotel room can be described in 500 to 1,000 different ways across suppliers, languages, and content formats. You're inheriting one of the strongest systems in the market—roughly 99.5% accuracy at 85% coverage, validated by customers like EasyJet. The challenge is resolving that ambiguity at scale while continuously improving coverage without degrading accuracy. Key aspects of the role: - Move extremely fast with little red tape; teams make their own product decisions and the culture favors asking forgiveness over waiting for permission. - Own the path to outcomes; agree on success metrics, then decide with your team how to get there. - Work on a genuinely hard, industry-wide problem that has resisted easy solutions across travel. - Help build Nuitée's product organization as it scales from roughly €1B to €10B in booking value. - Work with a global team across London, New York, San Francisco, Palma de Mallorca, and Casablanca. You'll tackle problems such as: How do you map the same physical room across hundreds of differently worded supplier descriptions in different languages with extremely high confidence? When should the system prioritize coverage versus precision, and how do you increase coverage without degrading accuracy? How do you identify the highest-value mapping failures and focus the team where better mapping creates the biggest customer or commercial impact? This role comes with meaningful equity, so you'll have real upside as the company hits its next growth milestones. REQUIREMENTS: - Have owned a product or business area end to end for several years and can demonstrate the outcomes you drove. - Understand entity resolution and can go deep into data or ML product problems: search, matching, catalogues, identity, recommendations, knowledge graphs, or content quality. - Can go deep into data and technical mechanics and turn that into product decisions, without needing to be the person building the algorithm. - Comfortable working closely with engineering and data science on technically complex products. - Have worked in a high-pressure environment where you were expected to drive the outcome yourself. - Willing to go deep into ambiguous, probabilistic problems rather than staying at surface-level product management. - Data and platform depth matters more than travel experience.
