Datadog is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead Journey Monitoring, a new centralized hub that unifies Real User Monitoring (RUM), Synthetics, and Product Analytics. This role owns the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery through launch, establishing a functional observability layer that bridges system health and user success. Key responsibilities include: - Drive product vision and roadmap for the Journey Monitoring hub, including journey maps, details reports, auto-inferred journeys, and cross-product data federation - Own end-to-end product development working cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and peer PMs across Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM) products - Deeply understand three key personas: SREs/engineers (uptime and technical performance), product managers (conversion tracking and behavioral analysis), and business leaders (outcomes and revenue impact) - Design the functional observability layer enabling auto-discovery of user journeys, Experience Level Objectives (XLOs), and AI-powered root-cause investigations - Define how behavioral and technical data integrate to surface whether conversion drops stem from technical failures or friction points - Engage directly with early customers and internal users to iterate on usability and optimize cross-sell/up-sell paths - Research competitive landscape (Dynatrace, New Relic, Contentsquare, Amplitude) - Partner with GTM teams on positioning and messaging Required qualifications: - 5+ years B2B SaaS product management experience, with exposure to data-intensive, analytics, or digital experience monitoring products - Domain knowledge of RUM, Synthetics, Product Analytics, APM, and bridging technical metrics to business outcomes - Strong analytical skills including SQL proficiency and data-driven decision making - Excellent communication with technical stakeholders and executives - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent Preferred: Experience with AI-powered products and integrating AI workflows for automated triage.
