Censys is hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead execution of the Censys Internet Map, the most continuously updated view of every asset, port, service, and certificate across the public internet. This role is central to the company's mission to be the authoritative source for Internet intelligence. The Internet Map is built on one of the largest internet-wide scanning operations globally: 400+ protocols, 3 trillion+ scans in APIs, 10+ petabytes of historical data, scanning 250 million+ IPs across 65K ports daily, resolving 8 billion+ names every 24 hours, tracking 18+ billion certificates, and fingerprinting 100K+ technologies. This data powers Censys' products across exposure management, security operations, critical infrastructure, and platform offerings used by over 50% of the Fortune 500 and leading threat intelligence providers. You will define business and customer priorities for what goes into the Internet Map and how it stays best-in-class. This includes two primary pillars: **Coverage:** Define how the map grows, refresh frequency, and comprehensiveness. This spans expanding IPv4/IPv6 scan scope, adding and prioritizing ports and protocols, increasing scan and DNS resolution frequency, and improving certificate and host discovery. You'll translate coverage priorities into detailed engineering requirements and acceptance criteria, and track performance against baselines to identify and close gaps. **Context & Enrichment:** Define how raw data becomes actionable intelligence. This includes technology fingerprinting, risk scoring, and third-party data integrations. You'll evaluate external data sources for accuracy, coverage, and cost; define metrics to judge data quality; design the schema that structures coverage and context data; and write documentation for internal and external audiences. **Cross-Functional Execution:** Drive data prioritization across the Censys product suite, ensuring investments align with company goals and resolve multi-product conflicts. Partner closely with engineering teams on scanning infrastructure, data pipelines, and enrichment systems—providing well-defined requirements, clear acceptance criteria, and architectural context. Keep peer product teams (Exposure Management, Security Operations, Critical Infrastructure, Platform) and GTM functions (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) current on what's shipping, changing, and coming next through regular updates, enablement sessions, and technical documentation. You'll run the delivery cadence, keep engineering and cross-functional stakeholders aligned on priorities and rationale, and translate complex technical and business needs into executable work. **Requirements:** - 5+ years product management experience in full-scale data platforms, cybersecurity, or intelligence products - 5+ years working in cybersecurity with deep experience on products focused on IP, DNS, and routing domains - Technical fluency in data systems, distributed infrastructure, or scanning at scale sufficient to write requirements - Proven experience writing detailed technical requirements and acceptance criteria that engineers can build against - Experience defining data schemas and quality metrics, and writing documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences - Experience running a delivery cadence (sprint planning, backlog grooming, status reporting) with fast-moving engineering organizations - Proven track record working with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Engineering, peer PMs) without formal authority over their priorities - Demonstrates curiosity, willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI - Must be a U.S. Citizen
