Sunday is building personal robots to reclaim time lost to repetitive household tasks. The company has spent 18 months building a talented team, securing capital, and validating core technology. You will be the first product manager dedicated to internal tools—the software infrastructure that enables teams to operate, test, and improve robots at scale. You will own the internal tools roadmap, turning scattered reactive requests into coherent strategy. Your scope includes tools for robot scheduling and maintenance, data labeling and quality review, robot testing, customer support, and fleet management. You'll work across multiple internal user groups: robot operators, data collection teams, technicians, machine learning engineers, product managers, customer support, QA testers, and technical program managers. Key responsibilities include: - Owning the internal tools roadmap and deciding which tools should be combined versus kept separate based on workflow and security requirements - Prioritizing tools for robot testing, operation, and fleet management (scheduling, repair tracking, over-the-air updates, real-time location and health monitoring) - Defining requirements for dedicated robot testing spaces, including coordination of robots, people, space bookings, safety scanners, camera recording, and live streaming - Shaping operation tools for distinct user personas: data collection and evaluation teams versus testing/engineering/product teams - Scaling data labeling and quality review tools as data volume grows from in-house collection, external vendors, and robot performance tests - Learning directly from internal users through shadowing and translating workflows into clear engineering requirements - Setting priorities with engineering and operations leads, deciding where AI agents add value versus where people should retain control - Defining and tracking success metrics (adoption, time to resolve issues, data reviewer accuracy) - Potentially extending scope over time to customer-facing operations: remote robot operation, customer support tools, diagnostic log viewers You will work in an early-stage, high-growth environment where you'll write the first version of problem statements that don't yet exist. Success in 6 months means robot fleet operations have a coherent roadmap with clear ownership, testing and operation tools have scoped plans addressing distinct users, and data tools have clear ownership with a roadmap for cloud-based evaluation viewers. REQUIREMENTS: - 4+ years in product management, ideally on internal platforms, operations tools, or workflow software, with seniority to independently set priorities - Experience with hardware, robotics, fleets of connected devices, or machine learning data workflows (labeling, quality review, model evaluation) - Strong discovery skills with non-technical users; comfort shadowing and learning from technicians - Strong technical grounding to work through tradeoffs with engineers on robot health/performance data, cloud services, data storage, and access controls - Experience designing both AI-assisted and people-controlled workflows, with judgment about when to use AI agents - Comfort with ambiguity at an early-stage company - Bonus: experience with robot fleet management, remote robot operation, or test labs connecting real hardware to software-driven tests
