KOHO Financial is a Canadian fintech on a mission to make financial services better for every Canadian through transparent, user-friendly products. The company operates with a performance-driven culture emphasizing autonomy, trust, and work-life integration in a remote-first environment.
You will lead a dedicated growth pod as Senior Product Manager, owning one of KOHO's highest-leverage growth problems: either converting registered users into active customers or building product-led acquisition channels. This is a metrics-driven role with clear P&L accountability and real business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own specific growth KPIs (user acquisition or activation metrics) with direct accountability for revenue and unit economics impact
- Run experiments at high velocity—design, ship, and iterate on growth initiatives weekly with clear hypotheses and success criteria
- Build data-driven business cases using quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and CAC/LTV economics to prioritize investments and defend decisions to leadership
- Lead a cross-functional growth pod (engineering, design, data, marketing) aligned around a single mission with tight execution
- Identify and reduce friction across the user journey—diagnose funnel drop-offs, onboarding bottlenecks, and underperforming channels; ship solutions end-to-end
- Design and scale growth loops beyond linear funnels, identifying compounding mechanics and product-led strategies that reduce acquisition costs
- Collaborate with the parallel growth pod to ensure the full user journey functions as an integrated system
- Communicate growth strategy, experiment results, and roadmap decisions to executives through quarterly strategy reviews
You will not maintain a feature backlog; instead, you'll solve growth problems end-to-end with high autonomy and clear ownership.
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years focused on growth, activation, acquisition, or product-led growth at a consumer or fintech company
- Demonstrated track record of moving growth metrics (conversion funnels, referral programs, onboarding flows, acquisition loops) with specific quantified results
- Deeply data-driven: able to write SQL when needed, design statistically rigorous experiments, and make decisions based on CAC/LTV modeling rather than intuition
- High experiment velocity: comfortable shipping multiple experiments per sprint, learning quickly from failures, and iterating without over-engineering
- Cross-functional leadership experience: led pods or squads (engineering, design, marketing, data) and aligned teams around single metrics
- Strong strategic communication: can articulate growth strategy to executives, write compelling business cases, and translate data into alignment-driving narratives
- AI-native: actively use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.) in daily work for analysis, writing, research, and prototyping
Nice to Have:
- Experience at a Canadian fintech or regulated financial services company
- Familiarity with product analytics, martech, and BI tools
- Experience with A/B testing platforms (Eppo, Optimizely, or similar) and experiment governance
- Background in behavioral economics, incentive design, or conversion optimization
- Experience with fintech onboarding and KYC optimization
- Experience building product-led acquisition at scale
