Jerry.ai is a profitable, Series C, YC-backed startup with 5M+ customers and $240M in funding. The company is building an AI-powered advisor to manage physical assets, starting with car insurance and expanding into home, motorcycle, RV, and boat insurance, plus adjacent products like property tax savings tools. You will own one of Jerry's key emerging product bets in a 0-to-1 capacity. Specific products include motorcycle insurance (recently launched), home insurance (recently launched), new insurance products for boats and RVs (concept phase), and non-insurance products such as property tax optimization tools (launching soon). Each product area has distinct operational complexity, customer personas, regulatory requirements, and scaling paths. Your responsibilities: - Take ownership of a new product from early concept or early launch through product-market fit and scaling - Ramp quickly on a new domain and distill data and insights to identify highest-leverage priorities - Collaborate with the Data Science team for quantitative analysis and Customer Insights & Research team for qualitative feedback - Build and ship new products, gather customer feedback rapidly, iterate based on learnings, and compound on what works - Contribute meaningfully to the product roadmap and drive execution end-to-end The role emphasizes first-principles thinking, ownership mentality, empathy for customers, and diligent follow-through. You will work on complex, non-standard problems (e.g., county-by-county property tax rules, specialty vehicle insurance regulations) without established frameworks or prior PM playbooks. Jerry is remote-first but maintains offices in Palo Alto, New York City, Chicago, and Toronto for those who prefer in-person or hybrid work. Requirements: - 5+ years in management consulting (MBB or equivalent), consumer-facing product management, or equivalent role at a high-growth startup - Consumer product instincts, either from direct product building experience or close work alongside consumer product teams - Comfort with data: ability to run your own analysis and build conviction from messy signals - First-principles thinking and analytical strength - Demonstrated ownership mentality and diligence in execution
