Jerry.ai is a profitable, Series C, YC-backed startup with 5M+ customers and $240M in funding. The company is building an AI-powered advisor to manage physical assets, starting with car insurance and expanding into home, motorcycle, RV, boat insurance, and adjacent products like property tax savings tools.
You will own one of several new product bets in early-to-growth stages: motorcycle insurance (recently launched), home insurance (recently launched), emerging products for boats and RVs (concept phase), or non-insurance products like property tax optimization. The specific product assignment will depend on your background, interests, and business priorities at the time you join.
Your core responsibilities:
- Ramp quickly on a new domain and distill data and insights to identify highest-leverage priorities
- Collaborate with the Data Science team for quantitative analysis and Customer Insights & Research team for qualitative feedback
- Own execution from early concept or early launch through product-market fit and scaling
- Build and ship products, gather customer feedback rapidly, iterate, and compound on what works
- Contribute meaningfully to the product roadmap with full ownership of your domain
The role is characterized by 0-to-1 scope (no established frameworks or prior PM playbooks), genuine product complexity (e.g., property tax rules vary by county; specialty vehicle insurance involves regulatory nuance), and real business impact. You will act as a key driver of the company's trajectory over the next few years.
Jerry is remote-first but has offices in Palo Alto, New York City, Chicago, and Toronto for those who prefer in-person or hybrid work.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years in management consulting (MBB or equivalent), consumer-facing product management, or equivalent role at a high-growth startup
- Consumer product instincts, either from direct product building experience or close work alongside consumer product teams
- Comfort with data: able to run your own analysis and build conviction from messy signals
- First-principles thinking: approach problems with curiosity, use data to develop hypotheses before jumping to solutions
- Ownership mentality: act like your name is on the door; take responsibility for fixing broken things even outside your swim lane
- Empathy and curiosity: care deeply about understanding what drives customer thinking, feeling, and behavior
- Diligence: impeccable follow-through; nothing falls through the cracks
Note: Jerry can only hire full-time salaried employees currently residing in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada.
