Spark Advisors is building healthcare technology to transform how Medicare advisors serve seniors. The company operates the fastest-growing Medicare platform in the US, combining AI, CRM, and client services to help 10,000+ brokers acquire, enroll, and support clients. Backed by Primary Ventures and Viewpoint Ventures, Spark is a Series B startup with a team drawn from Square, Ramp, Yext, Oscar, and Cedar.
You will own a critical internal platform that powers carrier contracting, commissions, and agency operations—not a simple tool, but a purpose-built system encoding Spark's operational intelligence. This role bridges execution and discovery: you'll ship user-centric workflows while understanding the underlying systems and data that enable scaling.
Key responsibilities include owning product areas related to scaling operations, collaborating with engineering and design on product specs and feature launches, maintaining tight feedback loops with the operations team as your primary user constituency, conducting user interviews and analyzing product usage to identify high-impact opportunities, serving as a subject matter expert in your domain, and bringing clarity to ambiguous problems.
You'll work independently and partner with senior stakeholders, including C-level leadership. The role requires strong generalist skills, prior experience building internal tools or systems of record, deep workflow intuition, and regulatory awareness.
Ideal candidates have a track record managing successful product domains in B2B SaaS or platform products, write clear product specs, navigate cross-functional work effectively, use data to inform decisions, have shipped products through multiple launch cycles, thrive in ambiguous fast-paced environments, and demonstrate deep empathy for internal and external stakeholders.
Compensation includes base salary of $170,000–$190,000 USD, equity, comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision), 401k, flexible work location with co-working available, paid time off, monthly remote work stipend, paid parental leave (up to 14 weeks for birthing parents, 8 weeks for non-birth parents), 11 paid holidays, 2-week sabbatical at 5 years, and wellness perks through SpringHealth, OneMedical, PerkSpot, and SoFi.
