Nelly is building an AI-driven financial operating system for European healthcare, automating administrative workflows from patient care to billing to payments. The company has raised over €50 million in Series B funding and operates across revenue-cycle workflows, data/integration platforms, financial products, and AI agents.
As Senior Product Manager, you will own a product domain end-to-end, including strategy, metrics, and roadmap. Your responsibilities include:
- Own a complete product domain tied to practice value and Nelly's revenue model
- Conduct mixed-method discovery and translate findings into defensible, sequenced product bets
- Identify high-impact problems within and around your domain, size them, and build prioritization cases
- Drive prioritization and delivery with engineering and design, managing trade-offs, milestones, and scope
- Develop a comprehensive mental model of your domain and serve as a credible technical partner to engineering
- Build cross-functional alignment and partner with leadership
The role emphasizes agency, speed, and business-outcome orientation. You will work in a high-velocity environment where you make bold but reversible decisions, challenge assumptions directly, and let data drive prioritization. Technical fluency is essential—you'll reason confidently about APIs, data flows, and system architecture. You're expected to use AI daily to prototype ideas, pressure-test concepts, and accelerate delivery, focusing your time on judgment and strategic decisions.
Nelly values talent density and expects team members to keep pace with rapid growth. The company operates a hybrid setup in Berlin with flexible working hours, up to 4 weeks of workation, and a dog-friendly office.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of product management experience
- Professional fluency in German (C1+) and English; you will work with practices, partners, and internal teams in both languages daily
- Agency and proactivity in identifying and prioritizing high-impact problems
- Comfort operating in high-velocity environments with bold, reversible decision-making
- Business-outcome orientation with genuine data-driven mindset; ability to name the metric each project moves
- Technical fluency: confident reasoning about APIs, data flows, and system architecture; credible partner to engineering
- Experience building with AI—using it to prototype, analyze, and ship; understanding of evaluation, feedback loops, and agent design
- Experience in data-heavy environments: data products, pipelines, and instrumentation as first-class concerns
- Strong communication skills; ability to simplify complexity for any audience and maintain cross-team alignment
EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE:
- Built and shipped AI products, shaping how products learn and improve
- Experience with financial or payment products and associated regulatory/risk considerations
- Built or owned external partner interfaces, APIs, integrations, and third-party relationships
- B2B SaaS experience in regulated or less-digital verticals, especially healthcare
