Clutch is a vertical SaaS platform backed by Andreessen Horowitz that helps credit unions become FinTech lenders. The company automates lending decisions (80%+ of applications require no human review) and is now focused on optimizing the account opening funnel—how members discover, initiate, and book applications with credit union partners.
You will own the Account Opening funnel as a Senior Product Manager, reporting to the Director of Account Opening. Your primary goal is to maximize conversion and help credit union partners drive high-quality, intent-driven traffic into the experience. You'll work across four engineering squads (located in Brazil) and a distributed product team (US and Brazil), earning trust and setting priorities through influence rather than direct management.
In your first month, you'll develop context on Clutch's account opening approach, meet with partners, and shadow implementations. By month three, you'll have mapped the funnel step-by-step by partner and channel, quantified baseline metrics (completion rates, abandonment by stage, campaign attribution), and identified conversion and attribution gaps. By month six, you'll own the acquisition and onboarding roadmap with your own priorities and tradeoffs, ship your first conversion improvement, get attribution instrumentation live with early partners, and evaluate build/buy/partner options for attribution and campaign tooling.
Success is measured by understanding why your best partners convert better than median, identifying which features drive adoption, and moving the needle on conversion metrics. You'll need to pull and question your own data, define metrics from scratch, and communicate priorities plainly to senior stakeholders.
Clutch emphasizes AI-native workflows and encourages creative use of AI tools in your day-to-day work. The team meets in person twice yearly for off-sites.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of product management in B2B or B2B2C environments
- Ownership of an acquisition, conversion, or growth outcome with measurable results
- Demonstrated funnel work at scale: instrumented drop-off, run experiments, understand funnel quality vs. width tradeoffs
- Working knowledge of marketing attribution and campaign measurement (UTM, event pipelines, CPA math, vendor landscape)
- Experience delivering through teams you don't control: setting priorities, making tradeoffs, securing buy-in across squads and leadership
- Ability to pull and question your own numbers; define metrics and outcomes from scratch
- Experience running build/buy/partner evaluations and defending recommendations
- Strong communication of priorities, timelines, and tradeoffs to senior stakeholders
- Fintech, banking, or credit union experience is a plus but not required; domain learning speed matters
- Native use of AI tooling as part of product workflow
