Vanta is building the trust management platform for the AI-agent era. As customers increasingly use AI agents (Claude Code, Cursor, internal Slack agents) to run business processes, those agents need secure access to Vanta's compliance and security intelligence layer. You will own Vanta's external agent surfaces—MCP (Model Context Protocol), CLI, and plugins in marketplaces like Claude Code, Codex, and ChatGPT—making Vanta the trusted compliance layer that agents rely on.
You will define strategy and ship products across these surfaces, ensuring outcome parity: any work completable in Vanta should be possible through MCP, CLI, and plugin surfaces. Key responsibilities include owning the agent ecosystem roadmap; defining how agents discover, access, and safely use Vanta capabilities; leading marketplace and plugin launches across product, engineering, legal, security, and go-to-market teams; partnering with engineering and design on secure, reliable developer products; building developer-facing marketing (documentation, customer stories); co-marketing with agent platforms like Anthropic and OpenAI; and defining adoption and quality metrics to drive prioritization.
You'll need 5+ years of product management experience shipping products end-to-end, with proven success on developer-facing or programmatic products (APIs, integrations, plugins, SDKs, CLI tools). Technical fluency with APIs, authentication, and developer tools is essential—hands-on experience building with AI and agent tools, not just evaluating them. You should have experience launching complex products or partnerships, connecting ecosystem opportunities to customer problems, building relationships with technology platforms and AI companies, and leading cross-functional teams. Strong communication, sound judgment in ambiguity, and openness to using AI to amplify your work are expected.
