Empathy is a venture-backed platform (raised $160M+ including $72M Series C) that supports people through life's hardest moments—caregiving, leave support, legacy planning, and loss support—combining AI with human care. The company partners with life insurers, wealth firms, and banks to deliver its services to clients, policyholders, and advisors.
As Senior Product Content Manager, you will own the end-to-end development of product content offerings that guide users emotionally and practically through difficult life transitions. You will drive complex content projects from conception through launch in close collaboration with Product, Design, and Data teams. Your responsibilities include managing content production workflows, drafting and refining in-product content (written guides, audio guides, care plan steps, meditations), and ensuring consistent brand voice and messaging across product areas and partner contexts.
You will adapt core messaging for different audiences and products, leverage AI tools for research, ideation, and drafting, and identify opportunities to pilot new AI tools that materially improve workflow efficiency, output speed, or testing velocity. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align on user needs and ensure content resonates with audiences navigating grief, illness, caregiving, and other emotionally sensitive topics.
Key aspects of the role include hands-on writing and editing, managing multiple concurrent projects with tight deadlines, overseeing versioning and review cycles, and using content performance data, user insights, and testing methodologies to optimize and iterate. You will work in a fast-paced, high-iteration environment and be expected to take loosely defined problems, prioritize them, and drive them to completion with minimal direction.
