Strava is seeking an experienced Senior Product Analyst to join a cross-functional product team. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and researchers to drive data-informed decision-making and shape solutions that meet the needs of Strava's 200+ million athletes globally.
In this role, you will analyze athlete usage patterns and behavior to surface insights that inform product strategy and improvements. You'll own end-to-end data solutions including instrumentation, ETL, modeling, and dashboard development. You'll serve as the "source of truth" for critical analytical reporting, proactively surfacing trends and quantifying impact for stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include: collaborating with product partners on A/B test design and interpretation while maintaining experimentation best practices; evaluating data tracking quality and working with engineers on implementation; advising on metric definition and monitoring product/business performance; and partnering with the broader data organization (data science, data engineering) to improve technical craftsmanship.
You'll need 4+ years of full-time experience in analytics, data science, or quantitative domains, preferably in consumer-facing tech. Required skills include deep SQL proficiency, hands-on experience with statistical programming (Python, R), expertise with BI tools (e.g., Omni), and strong understanding of data pipeline concepts (ETL, DBT, scripting). You must have proven experience with experimentation methodology, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis. You're a clear communicator comfortable working both multi-functionally and independently, able to manage concurrent projects and competing priorities.
