Salary: USD 165,000 - 190,000 / annual
Adonis is an AI orchestration platform for healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM), helping healthcare organizations optimize their revenue operations through automation and AI agents. The company has raised over $95M in funding and is headquartered in NYC.
You will build and operate core components of Adonis's data platform: the pipelines that ingest healthcare data from customer EHR systems into Snowflake, and the models that transform raw data into trusted core entities. Working within workstreams scoped and architected by senior engineers, you will own your components end-to-end—building, testing, running in production, and debugging when issues arise.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining pipeline components within larger workstreams, with architecture guidance from senior engineers
- Writing production Python and SQL for extract logic, transformations, and data quality checks
- Contributing to core entity models and learning the RCM domain that drives them
- Debugging data quality and pipeline issues to root cause
- Running what you build and joining the on-call rotation with senior engineer support
- Developing AI-natively using Claude Code and similar AI coding tools
You bring 2+ years of software or data engineering experience with production code you can walk through in detail. You have solid Python and SQL fundamentals and exposure to at least one part of the modern data stack (cloud warehouse, orchestration tool, or transformation framework). Strong debugging instincts and honesty about knowledge gaps are essential. You respond well to feedback and have visible fundamentals and trajectory. Interest in healthcare data is required—you don't need domain experience but need appetite for a messy, regulated domain.
Nice-to-have skills include Snowflake, SQLMesh/dbt, Temporal, AWS exposure, or prior contact with healthcare, claims, or regulated data domains.
This is a growth role with steep trajectory expectations: you'll start with components and progress to owning workstreams as you develop. You'll get direct exposure to enterprise-scale healthcare data problems and a modern stack (Snowflake, SQLMesh, Temporal, Python, AWS, Datadog) with senior engineers invested in your growth.
