Salary: USD 88,000 - 120,000 / annual
H3X Technologies is building advanced electric motors for aerospace, defense, and marine applications, delivering 12+ kW/kg power density—roughly 3x competing solutions. The company is scaling to megawatt-class systems serving customers developing supersonic aircraft, turbine power generation for AI datacenters, and other next-generation platforms.
The Senior Procurement Specialist will execute day-to-day purchasing as H3X scales manufacturing and introduces multiple new products. This role bridges tactical execution and strategic supply chain development, ideal for someone detail-oriented and proactive who wants to grow into broader supply chain or category management responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include: placing and managing purchase orders with approved suppliers; maintaining accurate and reliable PO data (quantities, pricing, dates, terms); tracking deliveries and following up to keep orders on schedule; maintaining and updating the supplier database, including onboarding new suppliers; ensuring supplier certifications and NDAs are current; building out a Supplier KPI database to track performance; developing forecasting models for key suppliers; flagging supply risks; coordinating with manufacturing engineering, production, and other teams; supporting cash flow planning based on PO data; contributing to category management development (Power Electronics, Electromagnetics, etc.); and providing monthly reporting on purchasing activity, supplier performance, and open risks.
Required qualifications: 5+ years in buying, procurement, or purchasing, ideally in complex mechanical, electromechanical, or electronics manufacturing; strong attention to detail and track record of maintaining accurate purchasing data; experience managing supplier relationships and tracking supplier documentation; comfort with ERP/MRP systems for PO issuance and tracking; strong cross-functional communication skills; proactive mindset with early risk flagging.
Preferred: experience with Manufacturo or similar ERP/MRP platforms; exposure to forecasting or demand planning; familiarity with electronics or electromechanical component categories.
