ARX Robotics is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to build and develop the indirect procurement function supporting the company's rapid growth in autonomous unmanned systems for European defense. You will own end-to-end indirect sourcing strategies across categories including IT and software, facility management, energy, and external services, working across multiple sites and countries.
Key responsibilities include: developing sourcing strategies and category ownership; running tenders and RFQs from requirements through contract negotiation; building and managing a reliable supplier base with performance oversight; maintaining accurate master data for suppliers, contracts, and pricing; managing efficient day-to-day purchasing processes (requisitions, POs, invoicing); overseeing contract lifecycle management including renewals and service-level agreements; establishing procurement policies and processes for consistent, compliant operations; leveraging e-procurement solutions with clear spend and supplier reporting; and designing scalable procurement structures that grow with the organization.
You bring several years of indirect procurement experience with end-to-end sourcing ownership, solid knowledge of at least two relevant categories, proven commercial negotiation and contract lifecycle management skills, and confidence with ERP and e-procurement tools. You excel at bringing structure to complex purchasing environments, developing practical processes, and managing stakeholders across business units. Strong communication, organizational, and proactive prioritization skills are essential. Fluency in German and English is required. Experience building procurement structures in growing organizations or working in compliance/export-control environments is valued but not required.
