Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer to join the Space Special Programs team, which designs and deploys advanced spacecraft and space systems for military applications. This role sits at the intersection of spacecraft architecture, systems engineering, and mission-critical integration.
You will help design spacecraft and space system architectures from concept through deployment. Key responsibilities include developing conceptual designs for missions and payloads, working within multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the spacecraft design and integration lifecycle, and managing tactical engineering efforts while interfacing between different engineering and test disciplines.
You will draft and develop comprehensive test plans for critical subsystems, support vehicle-level acceptance testing, and develop interface control documents for partners and customers integrating complex payloads with Anduril spacecraft. You'll also support build and benchtop testing of new vehicle systems.
The Space Special Programs team operates in a fast-paced environment where space superiority is increasingly contested.
