LightSource is building technology to modernize supply chain management, a foundational but broken system currently held together by spreadsheets, emails, and legacy processes.
You will join as one of the founding members of the product management organization at a company founded by veterans from Tesla, Waymo, Google, Meta, Amazon, Dropbox, and Airbnb. As a Senior Product Manager, you will be the central hub driving cross-functional collaboration between engineering, design, go-to-market teams, and internal stakeholders to build products that solve real supply chain problems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Discovering, understanding, and refining user requirements through direct engagement with customers and prospects
- Defining product vision and success criteria for initiatives
- Organizing complex, multi-stage initiatives spanning multiple teams and projects, ensuring work stays on track
- Collaborating with engineers, designers, and domain experts in procurement and supply chain on frontier technologies
- Working with go-to-market stakeholders to communicate product capabilities and vision to prospects
- Gathering user and prospect feedback and conducting market research to guide product development
- Communicating progress and strategy clearly across the entire company
- Coordinating with marketing to ensure customers are aware of and excited by product launches
- Working directly with founders in a high-speed, early-stage environment
This is a hands-on role at a small, ambitious team that is tackling a problem space ripe for disruption. You will have significant influence over product direction and company strategy.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree (or relevant equivalent) in a STEM subject, ideally computer science, engineering, information systems, mathematics, physics, or applied sciences
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management
- Experience managing a product through a full product lifecycle
- Understanding of compiling and analyzing large-scale complex data sets and using that to drive decision making
- Experience in clear communication of highly technical and complex information
