As Senior Platform Engineer, you will own the design, automation, optimization, and operation of Kubernetes-based infrastructure supporting Armada's Galleon mobile data centers and Atlas cloud integration. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on building resilient, secure, and scalable Kubernetes environments across diverse edge locations and multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP). Key responsibilities include: - Architect and deploy highly available Kubernetes clusters in on-premises (bare-metal) and cloud environments, managing cluster layout, resource allocation, and storage - Administer, monitor, and optimize cluster health, performance, and capacity - Implement Kubernetes networking (CNI, Ingress) and storage solutions (PV/PVC, CSI drivers) - Design and manage Azure Stack Local and HCI environments - Build robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) - Drive Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Kubernetes Operators - Troubleshoot complex platform, networking, and infrastructure issues - Enforce Kubernetes security best practices (RBAC, Network Policies, Secrets Management, Image Scanning) - Automate cluster operations and CI/CD deployment pipelines - Optimize for performance and resource utilization in edge environments - Develop comprehensive documentation and runbooks - Collaborate with software engineering, DevOps, security, and product teams - Participate in on-call rotations and incident management Required: US citizenship, 7+ years DevSecOps/SRE/platform engineering, 5+ years hands-on Kubernetes (including on-premises/bare-metal), 3+ years Linux administration.
