The SRE/Platform Engineering team focuses on maintaining industry-leading uptime and latency, scaling the platform, developing core services and tooling, and running infrastructure cost-effectively. The team operates in small units with high autonomy and influence over system design. As a Senior Platform Software Engineer, you will own the availability and performance of mission-critical services, building automation to prevent problem recurrence. Key responsibilities include improving system scalability, observability, and alerting; developing tooling to accelerate software development; practicing sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems; collaborating with product teams on technical challenges and system design; and following FinOps best practices. You'll participate in paid on-call rotations and help strengthen the team's technical execution quality. Required: ~8 years designing, building, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-traffic distributed systems; strong software engineering skills with proficiency in Python or similar languages; experience with a major public cloud (preferably AWS) and its services; experience implementing observability and alerting; willingness to participate in on-call rotations; business orientation and data-driven approach; strong communication skills (minimum B2 English). Nice-to-have: modern web frameworks, SQL, relational databases.
