Salary: USD 175,000 - 225,000 / annual
EliseAI is a Series E-funded AI company (raised $250M led by Andreessen Horowitz) focused on deploying AI agents to improve housing and healthcare workflows. The company simplifies renter experiences (apartment tours, lease signing, maintenance requests) and healthcare operations (appointment scheduling, intake forms, patient communication).
As Senior Platform Operations Engineer, you will lead high-impact technical projects driving operational scalability across the organization. This role bridges technology and business strategy, serving as a critical connector between Engineering, Product, Data, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and optimizing product and proprietary business operations systems to enable rapid growth
- Conducting deep discovery on stakeholder needs to enhance automation, AI-enabled experiences, analytics, and scalability
- Collaborating with customers on critical journey milestones
- Shipping features and improvements in a high-velocity environment (100+ deployments per day)
- Evaluating, selecting, and tuning market-leading technologies based on technical and business requirements
- Balancing speed and quality while iterating on production systems
- Attracting top-tier talent to the team
You will work in a fast-paced startup environment with full autonomy, no micromanagement, and significant ownership of impact. The role requires 3+ years building and scaling technical solutions with Python proficiency, strong system design and scalable architecture understanding, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Preferred experience includes SaaS platform architecture, AWS cloud infrastructure, client-facing roles, and SaaS metrics/lifecycle management. In-office presence required 4-5 days per week in NYC.
