Airbnb is seeking a Senior Platform Manager for its Community Experience Platform Products team. You will own major experience platforms that power Airbnb's support capabilities and lead high-profile projects across multiple cross-functional teams. In this role, you will define and execute product strategy for community support platforms, working backward from the ideal end state for guests and hosts. You'll champion winning strategies, leverage metrics to track progress, and collaborate with product marketing, engineering, design, analytics, and other teams to deliver best-in-class support experiences. Key responsibilities include: - Understanding competitive landscape and challenging the status quo to influence design and product marketing teams - Defining success through measurable objectives and key results (OKRs) - Creating winning product strategy and sound roadmaps - Aligning vision, OKRs, strategy, and roadmap with senior leaders and stakeholders across the company - Prioritizing work based on stakeholder input while remaining flexible to iterate - Maintaining product backlog and roadmap - Partnering with senior tech leads and cross-functional leaders to execute the vision - Presenting product roadmap and status to leadership on an ongoing basis You will need exceptional communication skills, the ability to adapt your style for different audiences, and a keen eye for great user experience. This is an individual contributor role focused on strategy, vision-setting, and cross-team influence rather than direct people management. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years of product management or product design experience (at least 5 of those years in a product management role) - Exceptional communication skills with ability to adapt for different audiences - Ability to appreciate and articulate great user experience - Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and communicate them to non-technical audiences - Outcome-oriented mindset with ability to articulate desired outcomes and collaborate on paths to achieve them - Experience working with partners beyond immediate cross-functional teams in product management or business roles - Radical thinking paired with strong execution; ability to envision a different future and articulate a clear path to get there
