Mollie is a European fintech platform serving 250,000+ businesses with payments and money management solutions. The company is evolving from a payment processor into a full financial services provider and needs ambitious infrastructure to match that vision.
As a Senior Platform Engineer in the Build team within the Developer Enablement domain, you will own the CI/CD infrastructure that powers Mollie's continuous integration, developer workflows, and deployment pipelines. This is a critical role ensuring rapid and reliable software delivery across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee health, stability, and scalability of CI/CD infrastructure supporting product delivery
- Monitor and respond to outages to maintain high availability and operational standards
- Develop and implement CI/CD strategies, guidelines, and governance while future-proofing architecture for security, compliance, and resilience
- Optimize compute and storage usage while maintaining excellent developer experience
- Investigate and resolve technical issues collaboratively with engineering teams
Required experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with GitLab or similar tools (Jenkins, Buildkite) with self-hosted operations focus
- Experience with cloud-native deployment and GitOps solutions (ArgoCD, Flux, GoCD, Spinnaker, Harness)
- Proficiency with major cloud providers and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform
- Kubernetes expertise including Helm, container tools, and image optimization
- Strong problem-solving and investigative skills with observability and debugging tools
- Cross-functional communication and documentation abilities with customer empathy for engineers
Nice-to-have skills include GCP experience, GitLab CI/CD operations, and ArgoCD deployment platform experience.
