As Senior Platform Engineer, you will own and evolve the AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) infrastructure foundations, working from VPC upwards. You'll develop and release Infrastructure as Code, partnering closely with security, product, and data teams to understand their needs and how the platform supports them.
Key responsibilities include defining SLOs, SLIs, monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices to set the bar for observability excellence. You'll measure systems' health, scalability, and performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement. You'll ensure incident management processes, automation, and remediation are world-class. As a deep technical expert, you'll own services including cleanup of tech debt, maintenance, and new architecture patterns.
Required experience includes hands-on ownership of data reliability and observability (freshness, anomaly, schema-drift monitoring, data SLOs), deep AWS fundamentals (EKS/Kubernetes, Lambda/serverless, networking, multi-AZ), Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), CI/CD, and observability. You should have a track record of catching silent failures, solid Go proficiency (or ability to pick up languages quickly), comfort with AI-assisted development, and experience with identity resolution and consent or auth data modelling. On-call ownership with pragmatic views on alert fatigue is essential.
Bonus experience includes gaming, MarTech, or high-volume consumer data platforms, identity and consent platform exposure, or gaming interest.
