GoTo Group, Southeast Asia's largest digital ecosystem, is seeking a Senior People Analytics Specialist to drive data-informed HR decision-making across the organization.
In this role, you will analyze key workforce metrics including retention, engagement, hiring, diversity, and performance to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. You'll conduct deep-dive analysis to uncover root causes behind workforce challenges such as attrition spikes and hiring bottlenecks, then translate these findings into actionable insights for HR Business Partners and business leaders.
You will structure and maintain recurring headcount dashboards and fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests, ensuring data accuracy across the HRIS. Working closely with HR teams spanning Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Total Rewards, you'll understand their operational challenges and define data-driven solutions. Your ability to query and extract data efficiently using SQL and spreadsheets will be critical, as will your commitment to data privacy, governance, and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
This is an individual contributor role focused on analytics excellence and strategic HR insights rather than people management.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, with strong preference for HR context (HR Generalist with analytical background, People Operations Analyst, or Talent Data Analyst)
- Deep understanding of HR metrics, talent lifecycles, and employee engagement frameworks
- Proficiency in SQL: ability to write clean queries, joins, and aggregations to extract data from Data Warehouse
- Advanced spreadsheet skills in Excel or Google Sheets (INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data validation, complex nested formulas)
- Strong analytical and diagnostic mindset; curiosity about the 'why' behind data trends
- Data storytelling ability: present technical data clearly to non-technical stakeholders in conversational, actionable manner
- Strong business acumen and ability to connect people insights with business priorities
- High discretion, empathy, and judgment when handling confidential people data
