CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior PCB Designer II (RF) to join their aerospace electronics team in Austin. In this role, you will lead PCB layout and library management for state-of-the-art power, digital, and RF electronics designed for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing advanced PCB layout for RF, digital, and power electronics in aerospace applications
- Managing and maintaining PCB component libraries
- Collaborating on schematic capture and design review processes
- Supporting multidisciplinary teams across the organization
- Contributing to the design of cutting-edge communication systems for space platforms
You will work with a highly talented engineering team using state-of-the-art design tools. As a senior individual contributor, you'll have the opportunity to mentor junior designers and influence design standards across the organization. The role involves varied, hands-on work in a dynamic startup environment where you'll wear multiple hats—PCB layout, library management, schematic review, and related electronics design tasks.
The ideal candidate has deep expertise in RF PCB design, strong attention to detail, and experience with aerospace or high-reliability electronics. You should be comfortable with autonomy, multitasking, and collaborating across functional teams. A passion for cutting-edge electronics and a strong work ethic are essential.
