Datadog is hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist in Singapore to manage payroll operations across Singapore and India. This role is part of the People team and focuses on ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant compensation for employees across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for Singapore and India operations
- Administer leave and maintain time and attendance processes
- Ensure timely remittance of Singapore's Central Provident Fund (CPF) and India's Employees' Provident Fund (EPF), Employees' State Insurance (ESI), and Professional Tax
- Handle employee onboarding and offboarding
- Execute ad hoc payroll projects and process improvements
- Manage payroll system configuration, deployment, and country-specific implementations
- Leverage data analysis for timesheets, leave accruals, and compliance reporting
- Identify and implement AI tools to streamline repetitive payroll processes

Requirements:
- In-depth understanding of payroll regulations in Singapore and India (Indonesia experience a plus)
- Working knowledge of payroll system setup, configuration, and deployment
- Proficiency with payroll software and systems (experience with outsource providers, Workday, or similar platforms preferred)
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets with ability to manage large datasets and create formulas
- Exposure to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements as applicable to payroll
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- AI-fluent with demonstrated ability to identify and apply AI tools to payroll processes
- Passion for technology and willingness to grow skills (not all qualifications required on day one)
