Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced Senior Payload Integration Engineer to design, develop, and integrate RF payload systems for advanced military platforms. This role focuses on RF systems testing, validation, and integration into airborne platforms, with responsibility for ensuring technical objectives align with contractual requirements. Key responsibilities include: evaluating and validating RF systems for optimal performance; integrating and testing RF systems on airborne platforms; specifying ancillary RF equipment to meet system requirements; conducting electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing; executing hands-on field testing in real-world operational environments; performing co-site analysis to assess interference with co-located systems; developing and implementing verification and validation plans; and presenting test results and insights to stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of RF payload integration experience, preferably in aerospace or defense. Required expertise includes electrical engineering with emphasis on electromagnetic theory, RF systems, and antenna design, combined with hands-on testing and validation experience. You should be comfortable engaging technically across mechanical, electrical, firmware, sensors, and software teams, with strong data analysis and rapid prototyping skills. The role requires an active U.S. Secret security clearance and willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time for test planning and execution. A mission-oriented mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential. Preferred qualifications include operational experience with small UAS systems in military contexts and knowledge of aerospace regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
