As Senior Partnerships Manager on the Channel Partnerships team, you will develop and execute strategy across partner verticals to drive pipeline generation and build long-term strategic relationships. This is a first-line operating role combining strategic prioritization with hands-on execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and owning Remote's global referral partner motion, managing hundreds of high-impact referral partners
- Identifying, prospecting, negotiating, onboarding, and managing partnerships across accounting, tax, VC, PE, legal, HR, payroll, broker, finance, recruiting, and advisory ecosystems
- Defining and executing referral partner strategy including segmentation, incentives, enablement, and engagement models
- Serving as internal executive sponsor for key partners, owning relationships from acquisition through activation, growth, and retention
- Designing scalable programs to drive consistent, high-quality referrals with revenue share structures and co-selling motions
- Maintaining deep product and market knowledge to identify use cases and referral triggers for each partner type
- Collaborating with Sales, RevOps, Legal, Finance, Product, and Support to enable partners and ensure operational success
- Partnering with Marketing on referral-focused campaigns, co-branded assets, and content
- Building and nurturing a referral partner community for sharing best practices and insights
- Developing reporting and analytics to track referral performance, pipeline influence, revenue impact, and partner ROI
- Representing Remote at industry and partner events, with periodic travel to engage top performers
You bring prior experience in partnerships at HR Tech and/or Payroll companies, proficiency with AI tools (Claude Code) and proven process automation capabilities, strong judgment on both strategy and execution, self-driven results orientation, and outstanding cross-functional communication skills. English fluency required; remote work experience is a bonus.
