Adyen is seeking a Senior Partner Solutions Engineer to serve as a technical expert and long-term strategic contact for key partners integrating with the Adyen payments platform. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with relationship management, requiring deep knowledge of APIs, system integration, and front-end development.
You will be responsible for enabling partners to successfully leverage Adyen's full platform capabilities through expert technical guidance, architectural recommendations, and problem-solving. Key responsibilities include:
• Utilize software development expertise to help partners build robust, scalable solutions that deliver Adyen products to their customers quickly and at high quality
• Serve as the primary long-term technical contact for partners' engineering and product teams, guiding them on platform capabilities and integration best practices
• Provide ongoing technical support, hands-on implementation assistance, and lead troubleshooting efforts to ensure timely solution delivery
• Develop comprehensive understanding of both Adyen's and key partners' product roadmaps, providing strategic architectural recommendations to maximize value
• Collaborate with internal Product and Engineering teams, advocating for partner needs and influencing Adyen's roadmap to enhance scalability and supportability
The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience integrating with Web APIs or providing technical consultation on complex system integrations. You should be proficient in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL), possess excellent communication and presentation skills, and be comfortable leading technical discussions with engineering leaders and product managers. You'll need to establish and maintain strong long-term technical relationships, navigate ambiguity, manage technical stakeholders effectively, and influence internal roadmaps through collaboration. A growth mindset with bias toward action and strategic thinking is essential. The role requires 3 days per week in-person presence in Amsterdam.
