Salary: USD 145,000 - 219,000 / annual

You will join the operations team to build world-class manufacturing and operations systems supporting Skydio's scaling US production facilities. This role focuses on evaluating make-vs-buy decisions for operational applications, integrating third-party systems, and developing bespoke Palantir applications to enable systems integration, automation, and AI-driven insights. You will work with existing systems including NetSuite, Arena, Jira, and an in-house MES platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders (production, supply chain, quality, planning, engineering) to assess pain points and needs
- Conduct make-vs-buy evaluations to determine optimal solutions
- Lead third-party implementation projects, managing stakeholder engagement, requirements definition, milestones, and vendor accountability
- Develop and implement applications within Palantir's product suite to optimize material flow, ECOs, production scheduling, factory execution, and quality
- Integrate new data sources while maintaining Palantir ontology standards
- Generate project status reports and conduct regular stakeholder meetings
- Solicit and provide feedback for continuous improvement
You will report to the business systems team and work cross-functionally across operations, supply chain, and production to drive productivity, scalability, and profitability.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an implementation lead for Palantir Foundry or similar enterprise data platforms
- Working-level knowledge of SQL, Python, and Java to build and review customized applications and data pipelines
- Deep knowledge of operations and manufacturing systems and processes (MES, MRP, PLM)
- Deep understanding of best practices for data structure definition and scalable data pipeline architecture
- Deep understanding of hardware and manufacturing business processes
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and make decisions in ambiguity
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with business stakeholders and third-party developers
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, communication, and cross-functional teamwork skills
- Ability to proactively identify and address challenges
- FAA Part 107 certification strongly encouraged within first 60 days; required for certain positions
