Salary: USD 110,000 - 110,000 / annual

The Senior Operations Manager will support Nabis's New York delivery hub, reporting to the New York General Manager. This is a full-time, on-site role (Monday–Friday) that may include demanding hours during peak periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, inbound/outbound activities, and movement of cannabis products while maintaining SLA compliance
- Manage and mentor a team of 30+ associates, providing feedback, training, and performance tracking
- Monitor volume, quality of service, inventory accuracy, and DOTIF metrics to ensure best-in-class partner experience
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and state/federal cannabis distribution regulations
- Forecast staffing needs, manage schedules, and maintain team accountability
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Central Ops, Engineering, Finance, and People teams
- Manage vendor and supply chain partner relationships
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using technology and data analytics
- Maintain compliance with all cannabis inventory tracking and reporting requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years warehouse or logistics operations experience
- 4+ years managing teams of 30+ employees
- Prior supervisor or manager-level experience in warehouse/distribution
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- High emotional intelligence, excellent communication, and empathy
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable with manual labor when needed
- Familiarity with business software (ERP, CRM)
- Tenacity to thrive in high-growth startup environment with evolving demands
Preferred:
- Cannabis industry experience
- Supply chain or data analysis background
- Project management and quantitative analysis expertise
Compensation: $110,000 annually, plus 401(k). Medical, dental, and vision insurance with 75% of employee premium covered by Nabis.
