Atoms is building Physical AI—real-world robots for industries including food, mining, and transport. The company integrates hardware, software, AI, operations, manufacturing, and real estate to deploy autonomous systems into real environments at scale. The Senior Operations Manager leads operational excellence across all depots in a market. You will manage a team of Operations Managers and frontline staff (Operations Associates, Shift Supervisors, Service Agents, Lead Drivers), accountable for safe, reliable, and exceptional service delivery. Your primary mandate is optimization before expansion: making existing depots run better through tighter execution, consistent performance, lower cost per supply hour, and fewer operational surprises. Key responsibilities include: - Standardize and continuously improve depot-level execution across your market - Develop Operations Managers and Associates into independent operators who diagnose problems and deliver results without close supervision - Own depot performance metrics: utilization, vehicle readiness, grounded percentage, cost control, supply hours, occupancy, no-vehicle-available rates, and cancellations - Ensure consistent operating standards across all locations so member experience, safety, and cost do not vary by depot or shift - Manage fleet availability, maintenance, and uptime to prevent grounded vehicles from limiting supply or revenue - Own cost performance for driver labor and operations staff against approved budget; forecast expenses and identify cost reductions without compromising quality - Drive safety standards, incident response, and full compliance with labor policies and legal requirements - Analyze performance data to identify root causes, challenge assumptions, and take swift, evidence-based action - Contribute strategic insight to market planning and expansion decisions - Build repeatable frameworks, playbooks, and training that scale to new depots and markets You will report to a Director who owns market P&L, strategy, and expansion. You are expected to be a strong, well-informed voice in strategic conversations, bringing depot-level evidence and perspective. You will partner closely with Recruiting, Growth, Finance, HR, and Strategy. This is a high-visibility leadership role with a direct path to higher-level opportunities. The role is fully onsite in Dallas, five days per week, requiring daily engagement with teams and operations. **Requirements:** - 7+ years of progressive, hands-on operations leadership in fleet, rideshare, logistics, or high-volume service environments - 3+ years leading people managers, including managers accountable for their own site, depot, or facility and large frontline teams (100+ employees) - Demonstrated track record of developing frontline managers into independent operators who deliver without close supervision - Multi-site or multi-facility operating experience with judgment to hold distributed locations to a single standard - Proven ownership of cost performance against budget, with strong instincts for balancing growth, efficiency, and quality - Measurable results improving existing operations (throughput, cost, quality, safety) rather than running in steady state - Demonstrated experience in safety-critical operating environments, including incident response and regulatory/labor compliance - Data-driven operator with fluency in performance metrics, forecasting, and operational planning tools - Experience in high-growth, fast-changing environments, comfortable navigating shifting priorities - Hands-on leader who earns credibility through direct involvement and execution, not just oversight - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience leading multi-site operations
