As a Senior Operations Associate, you'll be an early operations hire shaping how Fortuna scales. You'll manage B2B client relationships while running key operational functions for the B2C product, owning problems end-to-end for thousands of people navigating coverage monthly. This is a fast-paced role with significant visibility and real-world impact.
You'll work across multiple operational functions as a generalist, with a clear path to leadership as the company grows. The role is highly exploratory—what you own in six months will differ from day one. You'll balance the needs of enterprise clients and end users while maintaining commitment to core user experience.
The company operates fully in-person, 5 days per week from the NYC office, emphasizing a focused, supportive, and tight-knit team culture. You'll need a product mindset, understanding both enterprise and consumer perspectives. The role demands high velocity execution, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to build operational processes from scratch. The team values respectful disagreement, humility, and the ability to learn from failures.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or startup environments
- Strong attention to detail and pride in execution
- Exceptional analytical skills and comfort working with data
- High ownership mentality and ability to build processes in ambiguous situations
- Ability to work 5 days per week in-person in NYC
