Rebtel is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join its backend engineering team in Stockholm. The role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying complex, high-throughput backend services and APIs with emphasis on performance, maintainability, and code quality.
Key responsibilities include architecting and evolving backend systems with a clear technical vision and roadmap. You'll take ownership of designing large-scale distributed systems including microservices, event-driven architectures, and serverless solutions. The role involves proactively identifying and resolving technical debt, mentoring junior engineers, and establishing engineering standards across development teams for testing, performance tuning, and security.
You'll work with .NET Core/5+, C#, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework Core. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their managed services is essential, as is expertise with both SQL and NoSQL databases. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong system-level thinking, can decompose complex problems, and communicates technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
