Commure is building an AI Operating System for healthcare that eliminates administrative burden through ambient AI, intelligent agents, and autonomous revenue cycle management. The platform integrates with 60+ EHRs and currently serves 500+ healthcare organizations, processing $25B+ in annual claims and supporting 200M+ patient interactions. The company recently raised $70M at a $7B valuation and was named to Fortune's Future 50 list and 2026 AI Breakthrough Awards for "Overall NLP Company of the Year." In this role, you'll own meaningful mobile product areas from conception through launch, building next-generation ambient AI experiences that help clinicians focus on patient care. You'll develop novel interaction patterns for AI-native healthcare software, including real-time transcription, ambient documentation, AI-assisted review workflows, multimodal inputs, and agentic actions. The mobile application is primarily built in Flutter with native Swift/iOS and Kotlin/Android integrations where platform-specific capabilities are needed. You'll spend most of your time building product experiences and owning end-to-end delivery of AI-first workflows. This includes working closely with product managers, designers, AI engineers, and backend teams to translate clinical workflows into intuitive, dependable mobile experiences. You'll also tackle native mobile infrastructure challenges to enable product scaling, prototype quickly, learn from real usage, and refine based on feedback. As the team grows, you'll mentor other engineers and help shape mobile product and technical strategy. Key responsibilities include: building high-impact mobile experiences for clinicians; developing interaction patterns for real-time transcription, documentation review, offline care experiences; partnering with AI/backend teams to bring model capabilities into production responsibly; contributing across Flutter and native integrations; owning quality across performance, accessibility, reliability, analytics, testing, and observability; and occasionally contributing to web or Chrome extension surfaces when workflows span platforms. You bring 4+ years of professional mobile development with meaningful ownership of user-facing products. You have deep experience in iOS, Android, or cross-platform development, strong native expertise in Swift/iOS and/or Kotlin/Android (platform conventions, app lifecycle, permissions, background execution, performance), and a track record of taking mobile experiences from ambiguous ideas to polished production. You demonstrate strong product judgment, attention to interaction details and craft, and understand that reliability is part of the user experience—especially for workflows involving recording, connectivity, background execution, or sensitive data. You collaborate effectively across product, design, backend, data, and AI teams, move comfortably between product features and underlying mobile systems, and have an ownership mindset with bias for action.
