Salary: CAD 215,000 - 310,000 / annual

As a Senior Mobile Engineer, you will build and ship features for the North platform on iOS and Android. You'll collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to implement interface elements and work with researchers to productionize state-of-the-art AI models and techniques. A key aspect of this role is navigating security and privacy constraints—sometimes reinventing solutions rather than relying on popular libraries to meet strict data protection requirements.
You'll research new technologies and best practices while executing in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift. The ideal candidate has shipped substantial production code in Kotlin and Swift, built native applications for AI companies or consumer-loved apps, and can read, understand, and fix issues across the codebase. Experience bootstrapping new projects and working on audio features is a bonus.
