Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The company develops Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that integrates thousands of data streams into real-time 3D command and control centers. Anduril brings 21st-century innovation practices to defense, delivering cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military at unprecedented speed. The Air Dominance & Strike team designs, builds, and flies autonomous air vehicles—from collaborative combat aircraft to expendable cruise missiles and counter-UAS interceptors. The team operates on design cycles that traditional aerospace primes consider impossible, requiring rapid iteration loops powered by advanced ML and AI. This Senior ML Engineer role owns the entire surrogate modeling stack for Air Dominance & Strike. Responsibilities include designing and implementing ML architectures for physics-based surrogate modeling, building training infrastructure at scale, managing simulation data pipelines (CFD, FEA, thermal, electromagnetics), and creating tooling that design engineers use to consume ML predictions. The role applies cutting-edge research in physics-informed machine learning to collapse design cycle bottlenecks. You will work from first principles, unlocking aerospace engineering capability through machine learning. The team builds scalable pipelines and validation practices that carry across multiple programs. This is a hands-on technical role for an engineer who can bridge ML research and aerospace engineering practice, with ownership of critical infrastructure that directly accelerates vehicle design and development.
