Salary: USD 129,000 - 208,000 / annual
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The Connected Warfare division builds systems for global command and control missions, creating joint, multi-domain, connected mesh ecosystems that aggregate hundreds of thousands of endpoints for battlefield dominance.
The Mission Operations (MOPs) team manages execution, delivery, growth, and success of customer accounts. As a Senior Mission Operations Engineer, you will serve as a customer-facing Account Manager working directly with the United States Army to develop and deploy Anduril integrated hardware-software command and control (C2) products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Orchestrate the deployment of Anduril's flagship hardware and software products in support of customer missions, collaborating with engineering, logistics, and technical operations teams
- Lead planning and deployment to the field, train end users, and ensure high performance of products in operational environments
- Own delivery of contract deliverables including developing measures of performance and effectiveness, writing technical reports, and creating user development roadmaps
- Design and implement user feedback loops to gather, triage, and prioritize requirements, feedback, issues, and challenges from training, exercises, and normal unit operations
- Serve as a conduit between program and engineering teams to drive development of product features and configurations that enhance user workflows
- Support engagement with other service components, Task Forces, Geographic Combatant Commands, and Government organizations to integrate Anduril products across U.S. Armed Forces customers
- Develop and contribute to streamlined user feedback and engagement systems including issue tracking, training sessions, qualification tracking, and preparation for large-scale exercises
- Grow business through customer success by establishing trust-based partnerships, meeting commercial targets, and identifying future opportunities for Anduril technology
- Shape products to meet mission needs by understanding customer mission challenges and representing the customer perspective in product development
- Collaborate across nearly every Anduril team including business development, engineering, product, logistics, finance, legal, contracting, and technical operations
The role requires a mission-first mindset, ownership mentality, technical aptitude, structured thinking, strong teamwork, and demonstrated ability to lead and influence across formal and informal constructs in a flat, non-hierarchical organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in program management, product deployment, or field engineering roles
- Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with senior military leaders and officials
- Understanding of U.S. and allied military operations, doctrines, and multi-domain environments
- Experience translating and decomposing highly technical concepts into operational requirements and performance specifications
- Strong aptitude for problem solving in unstructured situations at the intersection of hardware, software, and networking; ability to drive challenging and vague technical problems to clarity and resolution
- Willing to travel as necessary (25-50%)
- Ability to work remotely across customer sites in Tacoma, WA
- Must possess an active U.S. Secret clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in Defense Technology, Product or Program Management, Solutions Architect, or Technical Delivery-type roles
- Experience and familiarity with United States Army and/or Joint-Force intelligence, operational planning, targeting, and fires systems and workflows
- Experience and familiarity in mobile compute challenges and tradeoffs for dismounted soldiers in varying form factors
- Familiarity with operational constraints of military workflows in Disconnected, Denied, Intermittent, and Low-Bandwidth (DDIL) environments
- Familiarity with mesh networking and data federation across disparate systems
- Familiarity with doctrinal, functional, and technical command and control concepts, processes, and principles
