Veeva Systems is seeking a Senior Migration Consultant to lead clinical data migration initiatives for its Vault Clinical Data Management System (CDMS). This is a customer-facing technical role focused on migrating life sciences organizations from legacy systems such as Medidata Rave and Oracle InForm into Vault CDMS.
In this position, you will partner directly with Sponsors and CROs to interpret legacy clinical database structures, protocol specifications, and data mapping requirements while applying Veeva migration best practices. You will perform data transformation, mapping, and script validation on large, complex clinical datasets extracted from legacy platforms. As a technical lead, you will own end-to-end data migration delivery across complex, active clinical trials, coordinating closely with cross-functional technical teams.
Key responsibilities include developing and configuring validation scripts and custom SQL-based listings to ensure data integrity, auditability, and cleanliness during ingestion into Veeva DQS and Vault CDMS. You will provide feedback to product teams based on real-world customer migration challenges and data volume bottlenecks. Additionally, you will contribute to reusable migration tools, data mapping templates, and automation initiatives while mentoring junior team members throughout the migration lifecycle.
This is a full-time role with up to 10% travel, potentially including international assignments. Veeva operates as a Work Anywhere company, supporting flexibility to work from home or in the office.
