As a Senior Mechanisms Engineer, you will join the Vehicle & Mechanisms Team and take ownership of designing and developing complex mechanical systems and mechanisms critical to high-speed aircraft projects. This is a senior individual contributor role where you will leverage deep expertise in mechanical engineering, systems design, and aerospace applications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and develop advanced mechanical systems and mechanisms for high-speed aircraft
- Lead technical problem-solving on complex engineering challenges
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including aerodynamics, structures, and propulsion
- Conduct analysis, simulation, and testing to validate designs
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team technical growth
- Iterate rapidly on prototypes to meet aggressive development timelines
- Document designs and maintain engineering standards
