Morning Consult, a global decision intelligence company, is seeking a Senior Marketing Operations Specialist to own and evolve the systems, strategy, and data infrastructure powering the marketing and revenue engine. This is a high-impact individual contributor role focused on raising operational standards across the organization. You will serve as the primary HubSpot administrator across Marketing, Sales, and Operations Hubs, responsible for platform configuration, data architecture, user management, and overall platform health. You'll build and maintain automation workflows, lifecycle stage logic, lead scoring, nurture sequences, and list segmentation while owning the roadmap for platform improvements. Data governance is critical—you'll establish field standards, manage deduplication, ensure database hygiene, and maintain compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and CAN-SPAM regulations. You'll own the HubSpot–Salesforce integration, including bidirectional sync, lead routing, MQL/SQL definitions, and attribution. You'll monitor integration health, resolve sync failures proactively, and serve as the marketing systems authority in RevOps conversations, defining requirements rather than just executing them. Reporting and dashboards are core to the role. You'll design and maintain dashboards in HubSpot and Salesforce covering funnel health, campaign performance, pipeline contribution, and MQL conversion. You'll own reporting cadences (weekly snapshots, monthly reviews, QBR-ready summaries) and deliver insight-driven narratives with proactive recommendations. You'll define and document the marketing data model and metric hierarchy, ensuring consistency across Marketing, RevOps, and Finance. On the campaign and process operations side, you'll own the operational layer of campaign execution: list pulls, workflow QA, email setup, UTM governance, suppression logic, and post-campaign reporting. You'll support ABM operations for enterprise accounts using enrichment and routing tools (Clay, ZoomInfo, LeanData) and own the process improvement roadmap—identifying, prioritizing, building, and documenting automation initiatives with measurable impact. Cross-functional partnership is essential. You'll operate as the marketing systems authority for stakeholders, shaping how Marketing and RevOps design processes together. You'll help stakeholders scope requests, assess tradeoffs, and self-serve through training and documentation, building scalable enablement resources. The Business Operations team is the connective tissue of Morning Consult's revenue organization, owning the systems, processes, and reporting that power the commercial engine across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and beyond. REQUIREMENTS: - 5–7 years in Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, or closely related role at a B2B SaaS, data, or technology company - Deep HubSpot expertise and track record of platform ownership; you've built and scaled the system, not inherited it; certifications expected - Solid grasp of HubSpot–Salesforce integration; comfortable in Salesforce for reports, record inspection, and joint process work - Strong dashboard and reporting skills; advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation and ad hoc analysis; experience defining metric frameworks - Familiarity with GA4, Google Tag Manager, and UTM governance; understanding of end-to-end campaign measurement - Experience with ABM and enrichment/routing tools (Clay, ZoomInfo, LeanData); you've operationalized ABM motions, not just supported them - Working knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and CAN-SPAM as applied to marketing databases - AI-native working style; you use Claude, ChatGPT, or similar to accelerate operational work and know where human judgment matters - Systems thinker who proactively identifies gaps before being asked and builds the case for fixing them - Independent, clear communicator who translates technical logic for non-technical partners; you've influenced stakeholders at Director level and above Note: The company views the above as a guide, not a checklist, and welcomes diverse and non-traditional backgrounds from candidates open to building new skills.
