The Barracuda Manufacturing Team builds cutting-edge defense hardware for warfighters, managing the full manufacturing value chain from design for manufacturability through production. As a Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will own the complete test lifecycle for assigned products, from early planning through tester development, deployment, validation, and long-term production sustainment. You'll be responsible for ensuring systems meet stringent quality standards while achieving required production throughput. Key responsibilities include: - Maintaining ownership of test activities in production, providing hands-on troubleshooting for complex electrical issues - Defining test requirements by deriving them from system design and collaborating with design engineers - Developing new test stations from the ground up, with hands-on ownership of at least one core discipline: test software, electrical/instrumentation, or mechanical/fixture design - Authoring test plans, build/build sequences, and acceptance criteria for new and early-stage products - Improving and sustaining existing test systems to enhance automation, consistency, cycle time, and test coverage - Generating test work instructions for technician teams and providing training on equipment use - Developing libraries of common failure modes with troubleshooting guides - Performing root cause and corrective action analysis (RCCA) on product failures - Analyzing test data, documenting results, and providing detailed reports to identify defects and improvement areas - Collaborating with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering teams on customer returns and failure analysis - Optimizing test strategies for efficiency and effectiveness without compromising quality - Maintaining and calibrating test equipment to ensure precision and reliability - Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes You'll work across multiple disciplines in a hands-on environment, owning test capabilities end-to-end while contributing to rapid iteration and deployment of defense systems.
