Salary: USD 191,000 - 253,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The Imaging team develops state-of-the-art imaging systems combining hardware and software to address critical security challenges, leveraging computer vision, perception, electro-optical, infrared, and sensor fusion technologies. As a Senior Manufacturing Software Engineer, you will develop product-agnostic software solutions that optimize production efficiency and product quality. Working cross-functionally with production and software teams, you'll enhance automation, build efficiencies, and ensure optimal performance of cutting-edge technologies in manufacturing environments. Key responsibilities include: - Develop software solutions to optimize production efficiency and product quality - Design and implement hardware testing strategies and tools - Collaborate across multiple teams to enhance automation capabilities - Create and maintain documentation for testing procedures and tools - Analyze production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities - Provide feedback to design teams for product enhancements - Conduct root cause analysis for production, product, and process issues - Lead system architecture designs of technical initiatives You bring 8+ years of professional software development experience with proficiency in Python and MATLAB. You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. You're comfortable with Linux, Git, and networking, and possess excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. You demonstrate accountability, ownership, and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional team environments. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in a relevant engineering field, experience with hardware testing and automated test systems, strong understanding of hardware-software integration, experience with data analysis and performance monitoring, prior work in high-volume manufacturing, and familiarity with SQL/databases, C/C++, JavaScript, or Nix. You must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
