Relativity Space is building rockets to serve today's needs and tomorrow's breakthroughs. The Terran R vehicle will deliver customer payloads to orbit, meeting growing demand for launch capacity. The company is at a unique inflection point—early enough to shape the product and culture, but far enough along that Terran R is tangible and gaining momentum. The Stage Fluids team designs and delivers propellant, pressurant, pneumatics, and other fluid systems that turn structures into functioning rockets. The team maintains full ownership across design, production, test, and flight, with a holistic view of Terran R focused on integrated functionality rather than isolated parts. Working on-site at the factory means you're never far from hardware, enabling rapid iteration and tight feedback loops between design and manufacturing. As Senior Manager of Vehicle Fluids Analysis, you will lead a team of analysts providing essential technical guidance for hardware design and operations across fluid dynamics and thermal systems. You will apply deep expertise in internal flow and thermal analysis to guide component, systems, propulsion, and guidance/navigation/control teams. Key responsibilities include: managing a high-performing fluids analysis team aligned with program milestones; defining, scoping, and scheduling required analyses to support program execution; ensuring analysis fidelity is appropriate for each development phase; overseeing resource planning and analysis progression to meet timelines; setting clear team goals and driving accountability; performing thermal-fluid calculations to size and design compressible and incompressible systems using hand calculations, custom scripts, network solvers, and CFD models; and developing and executing CFD analyses for complex vehicle problems. You will collaborate across teams, shape decisions, and see your work come to life in record time. This role combines technical rigor with creative problem-solving in a fast-moving aerospace environment where your voice will help define the company's trajectory.
