Shield AI, a venture-backed defense-tech company, is seeking a Senior Manager of Supplier Quality to lead and develop a supplier quality team responsible for qualification, surveillance, performance management, and corrective actions across the company's global aerospace and defense supply base.
In this role, you will establish supplier-quality priorities, allocate resources, and translate functional objectives into staffing and execution plans that support product, program, and organizational needs. You will develop Supplier Quality leaders and engineering personnel through coaching, performance management, succession planning, and technical mentorship. Key responsibilities include overseeing supplier qualification, risk assessments, periodic performance reviews, supplier audits, source inspections, and approved-supplier status across complex aerospace hardware, commodities, and manufacturing processes.
